I painted this at a time when I was feeling completely UNbalanced.  I sometimes find it so tricky to keep everything in balance- work, family, and creating art!  I know when I am not in balance because I feel depleated and defeated.  This piece is about how hard I think it is to maintain balance but the beauty that comes when you achieve it.
