I painted this painting from a photograph I took of the water at a lake in Medford Lakes, NJ which is my hometown.  There is a bridge walkway that crosses over a dam.  I stood on the walkway and took photographs of the sun dappled lake water as it was entering the dam.  One of the wonderful things about being an artist, is that you have to take the time to stop and stare at your subject and by doing so you burn these mental memories of all beautiful things.
