I tear bit of pages from antique books to include in my painting.  The ones in this painting include writing of a picnic and huckleberries and an illustration of duck, fox, and a bear.  I placed them by a fire on a winter's night as spring is rounding the corner.  I included a piece of a grade sheet from the early 1900's, just because ;)
I titled it "Mesmerized" because I flet the characters were mesermized by the glow of the fire on this magical night.  Don't fires have a way of doing that?
