I painted this in Cowpath Pasture on a summer night in New Jersey as the sun was setting.  I parked my car next to a big delapidated barn and a large farm tractor that cultivates the soil.  A thunderstorm was approaching and the breeze was picking up.  I set up my easel in the warm summer breeze and lost myself in the scene as I quickly painted the disapparing glow of orange.
