8"x8" square oil painting on linen mounted to board.  My son who is in college in Los Angeles, went with his friends to visit this famous observatory, and it was an unusually misty, rainy evening.  He took a beautiful photograph to capture the moment, and I painted this painting from that photo.  I love the moodiness of it!
