8"x8" square oil painting on linen mounted on panel.   I painted this from a a still life set up I created in my art studio.  The daffodils were fresh cut from my garden and the whole scene made me think of Spring's new beginnings and hope.  I loved the mix of purples and yellow in this painting- such vibrating complementary colors!
