10"x10" oil on linen mounted to 1/8" panel.  I love ranunculus!  I have newly discovered them.  I just love the delicate layer upon layer of petals and their glowing colors.  I treated myself to them on a rainy fall day and painted them by a glass door with drippy raindrops.  The blues of the rain and the orange of the flowers caught my eye.
